Rachel Hunter’s Tour of Beauty TV series sold to America
Imagination Television is delighted to announce that their series ‘Rachel Hunter’s Tour of Beauty’ has been sold to Ovation Channel in America.
The 13x30min’ series is currently screening on TVNZ 1 on Wednesdays at 8pm and features international supermodel Rachel Hunter as she embarks on a global odyssey to discover indigenous beauty secrets.
America’s Ovation TV is available to 50 million subscribers via cable and satellite and telco systems in the USA. The series will broadcast on Ovation from January 2016.
Ovation’s VP of program planning, scheduling and acquisitions, Lori Hall said “This series is a tour de force that brings together the best elements of cultural tourism with an insightful investigation of the standards of beauty and the quest to achieve a complete sense of well-being. Rachel’s approachable style and inquisitiveness make her the perfect host to bring viewers along for an educational and entertaining journey.”

Other global sales include a pan Asia deal with Discovery, which will see the show broadcast to over 20 countries across Asia. The programme has also been picked up by Australian broadcaster Foxtel. In Europe, AMC International for Spain and Iberia. Sky Italia has taken the rights for its channel Sky Uno. In Latin America, Globo Sat has acquired the rights in Brazil.
