Animal House - which evolved into the equally high rating SPCA Rescue series - is New Zealand’s original show showcasing the work of the "animal police" - the inspectors out on the road tackling animal welfare at the coalface. This remarkable series features the inspectors, vet staff, animal handlers and devoted volunteers who all go above and beyond the call of duty to give unwanted and unloved animals a chance at a new life.
This much-loved programme - formerly known as Animal House - spanned six series and consistently rated in New Zealand’s top 10 shows.
